Noise levels above 50 dB(A) have been scientifically proven to negatively affect patient recovery and increase complications in surgery. Therefore, SoundEar has created a series of products for visualizing noise in hospitals.  Noise is an increasing challenge of the indoor climate in hospitals in line with temperature fluctuations and air humidity. Too much noise will affect staff and patients. However, it is impossible to resolve noise issues in hospitals without first knowing where noise is a problem and then being able to provide an instant alert. Because of that, SoundEar's newest products are specially made for visualizing areas of noise and alerting the specific area in hospitals. Built in accordance with IEC 60601-1 (medical electrical equipment), SoundEar III is mounted onto a wall, showing the noise level in an easy to understand manner, and it emits a warning whenever the noise level gets too high.
